  • Warthog Safaris was established in 1998 by professional hunters Tienie and Ananja Bamberger. The company boasts with two privately owned concessions in the Free State and Limpopo provinces of South Africa.
  • Pristine camps situated in malaria free areas caters for rifle, muzzle loader and bow hunting safaris. Exceptional trophy quality is offered and the concession is home to four of the big five.
  • Most of the species are hunted on own land which ensures very competitive prices. Safaris to neighboring countries can also be arranged.
  • Adrenaline filled hunting safaris is available throughout the year, however the best hunting season is from May to August. We offer you a very wide selection of game hunting, which includes the big five on pre-arrangement and availability. We will arrange all licenses and permits needed to export trophies. If a special Cities permit is needed for some of the antelopes, we will help you to obtain the permit.
  • We advise you to bring your own weapon, which you are familiar with, but we have rifles available for your use during the hunt, should it be required.

For wing shooting you will need a shotgun which may hold a maximum of two shells. For those who only want to enjoy bird watching, a trip can be arranged by us to take you to the National Parks in South Africa. South Africa has more than 200 different species of birds available.

  • All camps and accommodation offered are of the highest standard. Every chalet has a beautiful designed bathroom and toilet provided with plenty of hot and cold water plus a selection of toiletries.There is a bar, swimming pool and dining area.
