Description: Komati River Chalets is nestled on the confluence of the Komati and Crocodile Rivers in the Southern Kruger Park region of Mpumalanga’s Wild Frontier. Situated on 12 acres of Komati river front wilderness, Komati River Chalets is one of the regions premier country accommodation providers. The restaurant, bar and pool facilities, and the individual chalets, are no more than fifty meters from the water’s edge where pods of hippos and an array of spectacular bird life will entertain for hours on end.
Bed capacity: 14 chalets are laid out in either with twin or double bed configurations. We have 6 two bedroom family cottages.
Site facilities: Swimming pool. Free Wifi is available. Most debit/credit cards are accepted. Parking is provided for directly adjacent your chalet or cottage for your convenience. The 12 acre estate is enclosed by an electrified security fence. There are also security guards patrolling the property from sun set to sun up for our guests convenience and safety. Free daily house keeping is provided in all chalets and cottages. Jungle gym with slide, a trampoline, a number of different swings sets and a beach volleyball court are all available at no charge.
Style: Children of all ages welcome.
Restrictions: Please be aware that the estate is a wilderness area and hippo’s often come up from the river to the estate gardens in the evenings to graze. Crocodiles are resident in the Komati River so no swimming in the river is permitted at any time. Komati River Chalets regrets to inform that no visiting pets are allowed at the establishment.
