Description: Indigo Blue is a self-catering holiday home located in Boggomsbaai, a seaside village that falls within the Fransmanshoek Conservancy, on the Garden Route. It lies just south of Mossel Bay, close to the mouth of the Gouritz River. The house is a short distance from a long stretch of pristine beach.
Bed capacity: The house can accommodate up to 18 guests and comprises 7 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, and a large open-plan kitchen and living area. Depending on how many people the booking is for will determine how many rooms are available to you. Any rooms not booked will be locked and will not be accessible during your stay. The main bedroom contains a king-size bed. There are 4 bedrooms which each contain a queen-size bed and one which contains 2 double beds. The final bedroom contains 4 bunk beds.
In-room facilities: The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and contains a stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, and cutlery and crockery. A dishwasher, washing machine and tumble-dryer are also available, as well as a breakfast bar with stools. The dining area has seating space for 12 people that opens up onto a sea facing balcony with a built-in braai. It has a separate Weber braai and potjiekos area.

Sandpiper Guest Cottages, Boggoms Bay.

Description: Sandpiper Cottages nestles within the Fransmanshoek Conservancy area. We provide local travelers and international tourists with an idyllic retreat as they escape to the peace and serenity of BOGGOMSBAAI in the Western Cape. Just about halfway between Port Elizabeth (Nelson Mandela Bay) in the Eastern Cape and Cape Town in the Western Cape, Boggomsbaai is a rustic seaside village that is a celebration of the South Africa of yesteryear.
Bed capacity: Each of the 7 self catering Sandpiper Cottages exudes an elegant charm, thanks to its Cape cottage style. There are cottages with 2, 3 and 4 bedrooms, and each has satellite TV a lounge, open-plan kitchen, dining area and outdoor patio, as well as a fireplace, which is irresistible on chilly Western Cape nights. Bedrooms each have a private bathroom. The suites are comfortable and inviting, with a distinctly homely appeal.
On-site facilities: Guests at Sandpiper cottages have use of the facilities at the private Sandpiper Sport and Leisure Centre at Boggomsbaai. It is here that we hold our regular “Klanke, Kultuur & Kaggelkos” evenings with good music, good wines and kaggelkos round the blazing fire.

  • Boggomsbaai is a coastal holiday village in Mossel Bay Municipality in the Western Cape province of South Africa.
  • Located in the center of the bay called Vleesbaai, the village is accessed by a single road, approximately 28.8 km from Mossel Bay Municipality.
  • Primarily a holiday destination, only a quarter of the houses are occupied on a full-time basis.
  • Businesses in the area vary between a dozen or so bed & breakfast accommodations and a golf-club. There are no other shops in Boggomsbaai.
  • This small village contains two public gangways to access the beach. The bay is known for whales and dolphins, who use the bay a feeding ground.
  • Boggomsbaai has a self-contained nature reserve within it, which comprises small reptiles and mammals such as tortoise, guinea fowl, rabbit & small antelope.
